EVENING WEAR SENIOR COLLECTION

In 2015, I created this life complete from sketch to patterning to final garments as my senior thesis at the University of Minnesota. My inspiration for this collection was the whimsy and glamour of the late eighteenth century. I combined textures like leather, brocade, and organza to create a modern sensibility. I created a motif and used laser-cutting techniques, as well as hand-painting to create a cohesive element that appeared in a different way on each piece of the collection.
